  • Growing Advice - Celosia

    Easy to grow - will do well in a moist, rich soil but do need good drainage and shelter or support in strong wind. Full sun, start early indoors or sow direct where they are to grow in warm soil - late Spring -  Summer. Press seed into soil surface (light required for germination) keep damp not wet until germination (approx 10-14 days) - thin to 30cm and pinch out growing tips when 20cm high to encourage branching. Great as a filler cut flower and also dry very successfully.

    Will return the next season if allowed to self seed.
