Autumn isn’t long enough…

And all of a sudden we are all but done - we have enjoyed such beautiful weather recently. The days are glorious but the mornings & evenings remind us that winter fast approaches. So grateful for the extra rainfall we received this year and a little terrified of the prospect of an El nino’ finish to the year and start to next season.

I have started the cool hardy annuals - larkspur, snapdragons etc and have a surprising number of ranunculus to plant. Most of the Dahlias have been tagged for lifting in winter
