Summer is in full swing
Well I don’t know how it happened but Spring flew by and I write this on the longest day of the year. The summer solstice - and our weather has been up & down & very dry to date but those lovely flowers are blooming their heads off. I have been able to supply the Mailroom@kalaru with regular bouquets changing with the seasons - my instagram @bourndagrow keeps a record of these. My succession planting has improved and the perennials are establishing and providing a steady sup

Mid Winter
Well close to the end of July and this winter has been fairly mild so fair. We have a large cold front set to hit the whole east coast of Australia tomorrow but reportedly affecting north of Narooma most - missed again :) I checked the bees yesterday and removed the Varroa treatment that was placed in them on 1st June - all looking great with massive supplies of honey & pollen which made me take a closer look at what’s in bloom right now. Oh and of course, welcome Bindi. x
